Café · Chalok
Slow brunch, good coffee and a big vegan menu, down in Chalok.
Big Bite is a family-run café in Chalok, at the southern end of Koh Tao next to the last 7-Eleven. It's the kind of relaxed, unfussy spot you settle into for a slow brunch, the sort of place that quietly becomes your morning routine if you're staying south.
The menu covers the brunch essentials done well: smoothie bowls, wraps, big breakfast plates and proper coffee, including Vietnamese. There's a large vegan and vegetarian menu running alongside the classics, so a mixed table never has to compromise.
Being family-run, it has that easy, welcoming feel, and sitting in Chalok rather than the Sairee crush makes it a calmer place to start the day. Handy fuel before a south-coast dive or a lazy beach afternoon.
It's in Chalok, next to the southernmost 7-Eleven on the island, a short walk from Chalok Baan Kao beach and the south-coast dive resorts.
