Tropico

Tropico is a bohemian sunset bar at the northern end of Sairee Beach, with a panoramic view straight down the sand and out to sea. It's the sort of laid-back perch you find once and then keep coming back to.

Golden hour, all day long

It shifts gear through the day. Mornings and afternoons run on coffee, bakery and fresh juices; as the sun starts to drop, the cocktails come out. That makes it as good for a slow start as it is for a sundowner.

The setting is the real draw. Perched at the quieter north end of Sairee, away from the busiest stretch of bars, it lines up almost perfectly with the sunset, with the whole beach curving away below you.
