Finsanity Dive School in Mae Haad, Koh Tao

Finsanity is a dive school with a simple motto, Seas the moment. The shop sits in Mae Haad, about two minutes on foot from the pier and right opposite Islander Hostel, so you can step off the ferry, walk over and talk diving the same afternoon. The shop is open every day to chat about courses and fun dives.

Small groups, experienced instructors

Groups are kept to a maximum of four divers, so every student gets real attention from an experienced team of instructors. Many divers come for their first certification and end up staying for more: the shop is known for patient, calm teaching that turns nervous beginners into confident divers.

Pool sessions are held in the infinity pool at Jamahkiri resort on the south coast, one of the most beautiful training spots on the island, and the dive boat is roomy with a shaded top deck to relax on between dives.

Courses from first breath to professional

Beginners can start with the Open Water course or Basic Diver, and children can try the SSI Explorer programme. Certified divers can continue with Advanced Adventurer, Stress and Rescue and specialty courses, and the pro path runs through Divemaster to the Instructor Training Course. Already certified?
